In this video, a 2005 LLY Duramax truck is stuck in limp mode and won't shift out of first gear. We just had the head studs done, put in new gaskets, replaced CP3, and tested the injectors. We also upgraded the mouthpiece.
When doing a test drive, the oil pressure is good. It has no temp gauge on the transmission and no speed limit. Four-wheel drive doesn't work, the ABS light is on and the brakes have a goofy feeling.
We got rotational noise and it's clinking when putting it into drive. It sounds like the motor is not bolted in right but can’t figure out what’s causing the clinking and clunking.
