Upgraded SYE Feature
The installed Slip Yoke Eliminator (SYE) kit replaces the factory long cone slip yoke housing with a shortened fixed yoke tail housing assembly. This upgrade is designed for lifted Jeeps to eliminate rear driveshaft vibration and binding by allowing the use of a custom Double Cardan (CV) rear driveshaft.
Application & Fitment
Jeep used multiple OEM assembly and tag numbers on interchangeable NP231J transfer cases. Your original transfer case does not necessarily need to have 52099211 on the tag for this unit to be the correct replacement.
