This is an original OEM 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0L engine wiring harness, removed from a running and driving Jeep that was personally driven prior to dismantling. The engine ran excellent and all systems functioned properly at the time of removal.
In this particular case, the original headlight harness and the original battery harness are also included with the engine harness. These components have sometimes been sold separately in the past, but they are included with this listing and shown in the photos. If these sub-harnesses are ever sold separately in the future, the listing and photos will be updated accordingly.
This is the main engine and injector harness and includes everything under the hood related to engine operation. This listing does not include the power distribution module or fuse box harness. That harness is a separate component and is not included.
The harness originally came from a manual transmission TJ, but it will also work on automatic transmission Jeeps for this model year. Jeep did not change the part numbers between manual and automatic for this application. The difference is handled with a simple jumper wire.
This harness includes the factory wiring that runs down the center of the tub and connects to the transmission, transfer case speed sensor, and all the way back to the fuel pump.
The harness is OEM and unmodified. There are no cut wires, no splices, and no repairs. All factory connectors are intact. Minor cosmetic wear is present and consistent with normal use. This is a known good harness that was verified by operation prior to removal.
The VIN tag is shown in the photos and may be used to verify emissions compatibility if needed. Emissions configuration is the only item that should be verified by VIN. All other compatibility is determined by year, engine, and model.
